PARTNERS IN LEARNING (PIL) was established in the Grand Bend area in 2005 to address the desire for learning opportunities for mature citizens of our community. By tapping into the impressive store of expertise available in the area, Partners in Learning provides relevant and novel experiences for healthy mental and social stimulation in a welcoming atmosphere.

WHAT’S IN IT FOR YOU?

You will be able to share with other PIL members what you have learned and experienced during your lifetime.
You can enjoy special learning opportunities available in a friendly, stimulating and relaxed atmosphere.
You will be able to have social interaction with other PIL members during classes and other organizational activities.
Become a part of the Partners in Learning organization that was created specifically to meet the lifelong educational interests and/or needs of mature adults.

Join us at the newly upgraded Huron Shores United Church at 25 Main Street in Grand Bend.

WHAT IS GOING ON?

Learning events are offered through the fall, winter and spring. Different types of programs appeal to different learning styles – participatory peer learning, discussion groups and activity based. We meet for one and a half hours on Monday. PIL session moderators are a mix of retired educators, professionals and community members – all willing to volunteer by facilitating the programs.

Come and join with us. Learn, share your knowledge, and enjoy the association of interesting people in your community.
