Partners in Learning is based on a peer-learning concept that has proven to be a great success in many communities throughout Canada and the world. A local, non-profit group of volunteers has undertaken to provide this unique community enrichment program in the Grand Bend area.
Courses are conducted in small, interactive groups, consisting of not more than 20 members. The learning groups meet together for 2 hours a week, on five or ten consecutive weeks to share ideas on the course(s) of their choice. It is a pleasant and stimulating way to keep your mind active and to meet others who share your interests.
A moderator acts as a facilitator to assist and encourage participants in the learning group. Each participant in a course researches and presents a topic of their choice related to the course, followed by group discussion.
